No Land Tax party remains hopeful for a seat in the Upper House

Vote counting continues from Saturday's New South Wales state election, and the tiny No Land Tax Party is still hopeful it might just snag the final Upper House seat.

The party has enormous financial backing - fielding candidates in all 93 Lower House seats across New South Wales.

The No Land Tax Party's polling booths were staffed by thousands of people - not supporters - looking for work, each promised $300 for a day of handing out how to votes cards.

So far none of these people have been paid, and the leader of the No Land Tax Party Peter Jones has now revealed his party is linked to former Liberal Party members.

RN Breakfast invited a representative from the NSW Liberal Party to be interviewed but they were unavailable.
