Obama to honour JFK's legacy as world remembers

US President Barack Obama will deliver a speech later today honouring John F Kennedy's legacy as the nation marks the 50th anniversary of his assassination.

Earlier today the US President, along with Bill and Hillary Clinton, laid a wreath at the former President's grave in the Arlington National Cemetery.

Together with wife Jackie, JFK brought a sense of glamour, fashion and vigour to the White House that had never been seen before.
