Silvain Gire started his professional life by working for France-Culture, the French public cultural radio, where he ranged through conversation topics while playing Public Enemy and Joy Division. In 2002 he co-founded ARTE Radio.com with Christophe Rault, which has played a major role in making radio creation relevant for younger generations. ARTE Radio produces original creations with no format, no commentary and no music.
