Reverse Mentoring - Why older, very experienced workers are taking on junior roles, working under far younger managers, to get a job.

According to a survey by the Australian Human Rights Commission - a quarter of workers aged over 50 report experiencing age discrimination at the workplace.

That's 50, not 70!

And it was much worse when they were looking for a new job.

A third of managers surveyed put their hand up and freely agreed that they factored in the age of a candidate when hiring - so much so, that a third of older workers surveyed simply gave up looking for work.

But what if you could you harness the know-how of older workers, re-train them for new industries and get the benefit of their years of experience and wisdom even if they had to accept a more junior position.
