A global crash in insect populations has found its way to Australia, with entomologists across the country at a loss to determine the cause. Widespread insecticide use, loss of plant diversity, urbanisation and global warming are all speculated as possible causes but what will it mean if the planet starts losing its invertebrates? Environmental Biologist, Doctor Reese Halter discusses falling insect numbers with Trevor Chappell.
