La Trobe Uni to trial driverless shuttle buses

La Trobe University plans to trial electric autonomous shuttle buses connecting campuses. The trial will take place in areas without traffic and initially will have an attendant to take control if needed. Dean Zabrieszach CEO of HMI technologies, the company collaborating on the testing, spoke to Red about the vehicles being used in a controlled space.
