Phone Towers Saving Vaccines and Children

Vaccines need to be kept at a cool temperature, which becomes a problem in the heat of remote Africa.

Professor Harvey Rubin from the University of Pennsylvania pioneered the 'Energise The Chain' movement, which uses remote phone towers in parts of Africa to power vaccine refrigerators and save children's lives.

Afternoons Presenter, Lyrella Cochrane spoke with the professor about his world-changing work as well as his opinion on the anti-vaccination argument.
