The world is watching Australia's stand-off with Facebook. Other countries are preparing their own rules to make the digital giant pay for news content, particularly Canada, where the responsible minister says legislation should be introduced to parliament next month. He's calling for an alliance of nations to stand up to Facebook. Australian Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says he's had another conversation with Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg this morning and the dialogue remains open.
