Love of reading: Children's book author Ursula Dubosarsky visits Canberra

Ursula Dubosarsky is an acclaimed Australian children's author who has written more than 60 books for children and teens since 1989.

Her books include The Terrible Plop (for young children) and The Blue Cat (for older readers.)

The author was in Canberra to be named as the official Australian Children's Laureate 2020-21 and visit a local library.

Ursula Dubosarsky spoke to ABC Canberra's Paula Kruger about how she gets the inspiration for her books and the importance of encouraging children to read.
