Battery tech company Li - S Energy has listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

A joint venture, between Deakin University, BNNT Technology Limited and tech conglomerate PPK Group, has led to the development of lithium-sulphur batteries that are claimed to retain a much stronger, longer-lasting energy capacity than lithium-ion.

Investor interest in the IPO was oversubscribed.

Lee Finniear is the CEO of Li - S Energy.
