Meet the moonbouncers(Ham Radio DX)

It takes 2.6 seconds to send a radio signal to the other side of the world, via the surface of the moon.

The technique is called 'moonbounce', and a group of Tasmanian amateur radio enthusiasts are using it to chat to other moonbouncers as far away as Ukraine.

They hope their creations will inspire the minds of young technology enthusiasts.
